GBB 2016 first check-in

whit_meruleGood afternoon, morning, or local time of your choice, to all you big bang writers out there! It's time for the first authorial check-in!
Just as a reminder, our writers' first drafts are due on May 15 2016. That's a little over 60 days away, by my reckoning!
This is your first check-in. Just a quick and easy way for you to let us know how you're doing so far. ;) It is not compulsory, but we encourage you to participate - and chat to each other in the comments and so on, form support groups, etc!
Please answer the questions below in a comment - and add anything else you feel like adding!
1. Have you started the story yet?
2. How confident are you of making the May 15 deadline?
3. What sort of difficulties (if any) are you encountering in writing the story?
4. Dogs, cats, birds, or all of the above?
5. What is Luke Skywalker's sexuality?
Next check-in is April 3, which is when you'll be allowed to share a small snippet of your story! :)
